Your donations provide services for survivors.

At A New Dawn we believe that the body, mind, and spirit are all connected, and in order for an individual to be healthy these aspects of our being all need to be balanced.

Our center was created to help survivors find that balance through holistic healing approaches and alternative medicine.  The "alternative" approach is founded on a fundamental principle of viewing the individual as a whole person.  This approach also embraces the belief that a person does not need to be ‘fixed’, as there is nothing ‘broken’ to begin with.  Instead, it seeks to uncover or reveal the innate health and wholeness that lies within.

We are grateful to collaborate with a network of holistic practitioners who offer a range of supportive services, including therapeutic bodywork, movement-based healing, nutrition education, psychosomatic therapy, equine-assisted experiences, and life, health, and intimacy coaching.

Each individual’s needs are unique. Following an initial conversation and assessment, healing services are thoughtfully selected based on what feels most supportive, appropriate, and accessible for that person at that time. Modalities may be offered individually, in combination, or through special events, group offerings, or retreat-style experiences as opportunities arise.

Our approach is not one-size-fits-all. Some individuals benefit from grounding and stabilization practices first, while others may be ready to explore deeper emotional or physical healing. As trust and safety build, participants may be gently introduced to additional supportive modalities that help strengthen connection to self, body, and community.

We honor each person’s pace and personal journey. Healing is not linear, and we recognize that someone may need more time in one area, or may be drawn to a particular modality more than another. Services are adapted with care, and progress is observed with sensitivity and respect, always centering what feels most supportive for the individual’s well-being.

Our goal is to meet each survivor where they are, offering compassionate, body-based and relational support that helps them reconnect with their inner strength, resilience, and sense of wholeness.

We are here to listen and respect each path and to provide whatever is needed for each individual.  The following is an example what one person may experience in a 3 month program.

For many this metaphor is symbolic of our feelings when they leave a stagnant part of our life and set sail on a new journey.
